The BBC/Discovery Channel series, Nature's Most Amazing Events, combines the epic cinematography of Planet Earth with powerful, emotional storytelling to examine the great transformative events of the Earth's changing seasons. The series was shot entirely in high definition. This excerpt shows the spring migration of the Narwhal through fissures in the Arctic ice, followed by a 10-minute making-of featurette documenting the tremendous lengths the film crew traveled to capture this spectacular sequence.
